Nite Jewel
Nite Jewel
California native Ramona Gonzalez first began her transcendent minimalist dance-pop escapades in the privacy of her own home in Los Angeles. With the aid of her multitrack cassette recorder and whatever keyboards, drum machines, and other instruments that were available to her, she very quickly developed her own unique sound and began performing live in the L.A. area under the moniker Nite Jewel.

In 2008, Nite Jewel self-released her debut album Good Evening, recorded with the assistance of longtime collaborator Cole M. Greif-Neill (Ariel Pink's Haunted Graffiti, The Samps). The album was met with widespread critical acclaim and song "Suburbia" (as well as Gonzalez herself) was featured in the motion picture "Greenberg" by Noah Baumbach.

Nite Jewel also became known for her collaborations, making infectious tracks with artist such as DaM-FunK and Bay Area rapper/producer Droop-E.

In 2012, Nite Jewel (with the assistance of Greif-Neill) released her second album One Second of Love under the Secretly Canadian imprint, receiving sweeping accolades, which again applauded her unique production style and pop sensibilities.

In 2013, Nite Jewel song "Nowhere To Go" was featured on the ubiquitous Grand Theft Auto V soundtrack.

Nite Jewel continues to tour the world extensively, meanwhile finishing her third album to be released in 2015.
